  • Nutritional Medicine and Gut Health Practitioner

    My own descent into poor health in my early-40’s and having to endure being bedridden for weeks at a time, carrying 15 extra kilos, suffering with chronic fatigue, chronic itchy skin, and crazy menopausal symptoms was the catalyst for the return to study and research and a subsequent pivot into the heart of human health and wellbeing - the Gut Microbiome.

    Little did I know back then, that I would reach 60-yrs old feeling in better shape than I have been in my entire adult life and now, being internationally recognized as an expert in Gut health.

    My intimate knowledge and work with the Gut Microbiome is based on 1000’s of evidence-based research papers and led to the creation of a program of which I feel rightfully proud: the Gut Rebalancing Protocol [GRP]. A step-by-step coaching plan that has shown 700+ members how to transform their health.

    A published author*, speaker, radio and podcast presenter, newspaper and magazine contributor and recipe book creator… My real passion is in translating cutting-edge scientific research into ‘doable bite-sized actions’ and ‘usable tools’ to that when implemented help participants achieve optimal health.

    But more than that… as a wife, a daughter, a sister, a mother to 3 beautiful adult children (35, 32 and 27) and grandmother to 3 of the most adorable grandchildren… I understand what it is like to juggle work, home, life AND health. It would be an honour and privilege to show you how YOU can do it too — for a healthy, vibrant and happy life.

    With 30+ years in education and facilitating organisational change, I know how to help people both recognise the need for change and to make those challenging shifts. Here in the GRP I offer you my solution-focused toolkit of 'welcome change' resources, to support you in making the transformation you came for.

    As GRP Alumni myself, I understand first-hand the calibre of support needed to navigate this change - and what is needed to make it last.

    Fine-tuning what (and how) you eat and understanding the concert of factors impacting your Gut Microbiome is (relatively speaking) the easy part.

    What I see again and again when making meaningful, values-based behavioural changes, however, is the struggle that arises against already embedded subconscious choices and attitudes. This struggle is understandable, given that what drives our old, established habits knows and has access to so many of our hot-buttons!

    I’m here to help with that. I know from experience that those who are adequately supported and coached through this process have a much higher success rate.

    Having made this same journey myself, it is my professional ‘change toolkit’ that I’m now here to share with you, to help ensure true transformation is yours - for keeps!

    And, on the personal side… Natalie and I have been together for 40-yrs, both as life and work partners. We share 3 beautiful children, 3 adorable grandchildren, a cat, 2 chickens and 2 guinea pigs.
